You sleep on <strong>comfortable beds<\/strong> with the possibility of turning on the air conditioning. The furniture is simple and refined. The private bathroom and <strong>outdoor shower<\/strong> are located outside the tent (hot water is from solar panels).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the day you can read a book in the shade of the olive trees, between <strong>a swim in the pool<\/strong> and another. At lunch, you can grill in the common area, and eat all together on the large wooden table. The vegetables are harvested directly from <strong>the organic garden<\/strong>. Old recycled furniture, no plastic and low consumption light bulbs. The chickens eat the leftovers, returning the favor with fresh eggs the next morning. What is not eaten by the animals ends up in the composting tanks and is used as fertilizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rainwater is collected for irrigation and efforts are made to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible (in 2007 the property purchased a 10 acre block of regenerating temperate rainforest on the Great Barrier Island in New Zealand, with the intent of planting more trees to increase the carbon sequestration rate).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the fall, every The Lazy Olive Glamping\u2019s tent is dismantled to clear the ground so that it can be worked on properly.
