From Paris, they are the founders of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lespetitesemplettes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">les petites emplettes<\/a>&nbsp;online store. They moved here with the three daughters.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/slowlivinghideaway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/castello-di-dirac-cucina.jpg\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" class=\"wp-image-3892\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Old pieces of wallpaper, ancient peeling plaster, antiques doors and wood panelling tell the story of the castle (the last major restoration before the purchase dates back to the 1940s). All refreshed by light wood furnishings and wicker accessories.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone size-full wp-image-3706\"><img src=\"https:\/\/slowlivinghideaway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/chateau-de-dirac-cheminee.jpg\" alt=\"Ch\u00e2teau de Dirac\" class=\"wp-image-3706\"\/><figcaption>Ch\u00e2teau de Dirac<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">An ancient and modern style at the same time. Silver cutlery and crystal chandeliers go together with straw baskets and wild flowers, creating a soft, simple, authentic and refined atmosphere. Everywhere there are plants, from the smallest to the XXL ones. Inside and outside become one.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Ch\u00e2teau de Dirac is an oasis of peace, among woods and wild landscapes of the Charente. An exceptional light is reflected on the white stones of the manor. Just below the castle flows the Anguienne stream ...<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/slowlivinghideaway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/chateau-de-dirac-castle.jpg\" alt=\"chateau-de-dirac-castle.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-3739\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">In the barn of the Ch\u00e2teau de Dirac there is a space for events, weddings and shooting and the showroom of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lespetitesemplettes.com\/\">les petites emplettes<\/a>: decorative objects made in France and Morocco are shaped with simple materials such as wood, straw and cardboard. A the same time, here you can find old trouvailles, that Isabelle found in some flea markets, and natural fabrics such as cotton and wool.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone
